XenApp 6.5 Hotfixes

  • Autocreation of session printers can fail. The issue occurs when the Citrix Print Manager Service (CpSvc.exe) experiences high thread counts.
  • Session printers might take excessively long to be listed in the session.
  • The winlogon.exe process might exit unexpectedly on twi3.dll.
  • Servers might experience a fatal exception, displaying a blue screen, on wdica.sys with stop code 0x50.
  • On systems with Hotfix Rollup Pack 1 installed, the Citrix XTE Server service can exit unexpectedly, dropping all connections to the affected server.
  • Servers might experience a fatal exception (DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL), displaying a blue screen, on picadm.sys with bugcheck code 0xd1.
  • Servers with XenApp 6.5 Hotfix Rollup Pack 2 installed might experience a fatal exception, displaying a blue screen, on picadd.sys with stop code 3b.

XenApp 6.0 Hotfixes (Including XenApp 6.0 Fundamentals)

  • This fix addresses excessive paged pool memory consumption on servers with sessions using client mapped drives.
  • A deadlock in picadm.sys can cause servers to become unresponsive.
  • A deadlock in picadm.sys can cause servers to become unresponsive. Sessions Already connected might disconnect and prevent servers from accepting new connections.
  • The IMA Service might become unresponsive, preventing existing sessions from logging off and new sessions from connecting.
  • Launching several sessions concurrently can cause the server CPU consumption to be higher than expected.
  • Servers might experience a fatal exception, displaying a blue screen, on picadm.sys.
  • Servers might experience a fatal exception, displaying a blue screen, on vdtw30.dll.
  • Users reconnecting to a session can experience logon delays of up to 30 seconds for each WMI filter that is configured.

  • The Add-XAAutoReplicatedPrinterDriver cmdlet takes a parameter named sourceservername. However, get-help add-xaautoreplicatedprinterdriver – examples incorrectly states that the cmdlet takes a parameter named servername.
  • This fix addresses various issues with published icons.

  • This enhancement is a part of the XenApp Printing Optimization Pack. The Printing Optimization Pack improves the user experience and printing speed by reducing the printer bandwidth required. You install the Remote Desktop Session Host role service on a computer that is running Windows Server 2008 or Windows Server 2008 R2. You try to log off a Remote Desktop Services session on the computer. In this scenario, the Remote Desktop Services session stops responding (hangs). After some time, the computer stops accepting incoming Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) or Independent Computing Architecture (ICA) connections. You must turn off and then restart the computer to recover from this issue.
